Mary Brice
Mary Brice is one of four Lincolnshire artists who make up "Mixed Palettes". She is also a committee member of Spalding Arts & Crafts Society.
Mary has always enjoyed dabbling in any medium, tho' she finds botanical painting is the most satisfying.
After retiring she did an Open University degree in Art History. This involved a visit to Italy, where she saw the line of washing which inspired "Pink Knickers". She was proud that it was exhibited at the Mall Gallery, along with the works of other finalists in the Daily Mail "Not the Turner Prize" competition.
Mary has been on painting holidays in France and Spain with Norman Rossiter's group. She has also exhibited in the Geest Gallery, Ayscoughfee Hall, Spalding, the Ayscoughfee Cafe, at Springfields, and numerous churches in the region.
View her watercolour and oil paintings in The Mary Brice Gallery. Other mediums will be added soon.
